After assessing all relevant factors relating to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), including travel and public health considerations, the United States Tax Court has determined that it is appropriate to cancel upcoming trial sessions.
Headquartered in Washington, D.C., it is a Court of nationwide jurisdiction and conducts trial sessions in 74 cities across the country. These sessions typically involve a large number of participants including litigants, attorneys, witnesses, low-income taxpayer clinic representatives, bar–sponsored pro bono program representatives, and Court personnel.
